Can bicycles, surfboards or skis be transported?
Alsa makes it easy for you to transport sports equipment. You can request the service at Alsa points of sale, on the website, and on the app. The cost per trip is €5 for short-haul services, €10 for long-haul services, and €25 for international services.

Conditions

Only one item/equipment is allowed per ticket, maximum 4 per vehicle.
This service is not available on double-decker buses.
The equipment will be properly packed in a bag designed for transport (boxes will not be accepted). Due to space limitations, we recommend packing the front wheel of the bicycles disassembled.
Surfboards must have a maximum length of approximately 2 meters.
Alsa stores offer bicycle covers from €15.
On the website and in the app, you can add the service only during the purchase process.
Once you've completed your ticket purchase, you can only add this add-on at points of sale and it depends on the vehicle's capacity.
This service is not available for the Madrid-Casablanca route.

BAN on SCOOTERS and OTHER ELECTRIC VEHICLES
From January 10 , 2024, access to buses with electric scooters is prohibited on all Alsa services.
This ban applies not only to electric scooters, but to any other mobility device equipped with batteries .
Vehicles for people with reduced mobility are excluded from the ban .
The measure is adopted to safeguard the safety of customers.
Other special luggage

The same rates and conditions apply to all sports and/or leisure equipment and accessories that are comparable, similar, or similar to those described above and that, due to their size and/or characteristics, must be placed in the bus hold. This luggage must be in a condition suitable for travel without causing damage to other luggage or packages, and it is mandatory that it be properly packaged for transport.
