Learn to Canoe on Deer Lake (Burnaby): get your Level 1 tandem Lakewater canoeing certificate FREE with Beaver Canoe Club membership ($35 for adults).
Learn or refresh your basic paddle strokes, rescue techniques for swamped boats, reentering the boat from the water, hazards, knots, carrying and portaging boats and more!
The course includes an evening theory session and two full days on the Lake, and is taught by certified RCABC instructors.
