有没有人愿意圣诞假期搭车去南加州玩的?

计划圣诞和新年到南加州一游。去时停火山湖公园和优胜美地公园（不能爬山，只能看雪景），回程时停太后湖和Mt Shasta。是否有人愿意搭车一齐走？时间最好是１２月１９ － １月３。

很想跟你到南加州走一走，又能路过这么多景点。最主要的是有你这个在美国几十年的导游，会是极其深度游。不知你具体的时间安排，我跟我老婆商量一下，很希望与你同行。


我们月初去vegas和大峡谷行程已定了，机票和hotel都已经订好，8天自驾。但我最担心的是路况，希望不要下雪。
具体行程如下：

第一天： 温哥华--vegas
第二天： 游vegas
第三天： Death vellay（当天返回vegas)
第四天： 前往大峡谷南缘（住 Bright angel lodge) 驾驶443公里
第五天： 从大峡谷前往zion（住zion lodge) 驾驶 444公里 7小时22分钟
第六天： 游zion和返回vegas 驾驶267公里，3小时17分钟
第七天：游vegas和购物
第八天：返回温哥华

我查过天气预报，大峡谷白天温度在7-10度之间，如果能一直维持这个温度，没有下雪，开车问题不大。

对那边情况真的一无所知，能够给一些建议。
我准备租四驱越野车，不知哪种车最适合那边现在的路况？

等回来后月底再跟你游南加州，西南那片就会熟悉多了。

第三天： Death vellay（当天返回vegas)

U go to the north of Vegas to enter Death Valley, about 2-3 hrs.

第四天： 前往大峡谷南缘（住 Bright angel lodge) 驾驶443公里

It has a short cut. Driving time is about 5-6 hrs.

第五天： 从大峡谷前往zion（住zion lodge) 驾驶 444公里 7小时22分钟

I think u could drive from GC South Rim to north road toward the North Rim. Then turn to further north from there. It is at least 5+2 hrs, a whole day driving under good road condition. If the road has snow, go back Vegas, then Zion NP.

I do not see anytime u stay at GC! U have a tough schedule to tour these two NPs, one in south and another one in north.[/b]

Before u get back I-15 freeway, it is St George, a good outlet.

USD41/per neight 名字叫 golden nugget

车还没租好呢。

另外，哪一家租车公司最好？ 我看了Budget, 很贵而且可选的车型很少。哪一款车型最适合现在的路况？ 我正在priceline 和直接的租车公司网站上找呢。

Complete your driving before the darkness to avoid any confusion. It is pretty simple driving all around ur destinations. I am sure u would be good.

Barstow has the largest outlet I have ever seen. It is at the conjunction of I-15 and I-40. Go there for ur shopping.

从大峡谷南缘到zion 的89号公路好开吗？89alt要近些，但不知是否比89要不好开吗？

I cannot remember the highway #. The road under normal condition (no snow) is pretty good. There is a dam over the river. But there is no gas station if my memory is correct. U have to pay attention.


圣诞节期间，由于时间太长，我老婆要上课，所以她不能去南加州了，只有我自己跟你前往。 不知道具体行程你打算怎样安排。
我一般都可以的，就是沿途看一看。

We, 2P, plan to go down to LA and drop by Bay Area when we are back. We only plan to stay in Bay Area for one day. Then drive up along the coast thru Redwood NP and Oregon coast. We also plan to take off by Dec 19. It seems very hard to match your schedule.

Jerry, what's your guys' exact schedule? I drove the same route back from LA a few years ago. Personally I feel the trip would be more enjoyable during warmer months, especially Oregon coast. Man, it's quite cold at this time of the year. But in Southern CA, the weather is always enjoyable any time of the year.
