Day 1: drive in, camp 1 ( long day + delay at the border )
Day 2: Crater Lake  etc. : easy beginner/half-day hikes
Day 3: camp 2, local beginners/half-day hikes in the area
Day 4: drive home ( long day + delay at the border )

Carpool Option 1
2 passengers + 2 drivers per each Rental Midsize Vehicle (Nissan Sentra or Similar)

Carpool Option 2
5 passengers + 2 drivers in one Rental Minivan

- Drivers share driving and responsible for renting vehicle
- Drivers don't pay for gas, but share vehicle cost

Costs
1. Non-refundable transferable deposit $100 must be paid within one day of signup.
2. Full estimated (carpool/fees) share must be paid prior to the trip. The difference will be refunded upon trip completion.

IMPORTANT
ALTHOUGH the organizer of this trip has received training in mountaineering and alpine/crevasse rescue, he is NOT a professional mountaineer, guide or trained first aid attendant. The function of the organizer is only to organize the trip, ensure it gets underway and be familiar or have knowledge of the access to the area, the route or routes. Participants on a trip are responsible for their own safety and are expected to have the necessary skills, experience, fitness, suitable first aid supplies and appropriate equipment in good working order.

Factors: if minimum safety levels are not met (because of weather, conditions, etc.) the trip will be canceled, last minute cancellations do occur.
