The BC government has released a revamped version of its mapping portal, iMapBC.
What is iMapBC? It's a web-based mapping system that can be used to generate and
print customized maps of anywhere in BC. While scanned versions of the official
topographic maps are available to download and print, they often date from 20
years ago or longer and cannot be relied on for the location of logging roads.
Get up-to-date topo maps with current logging roads, and find out official names
of peaks, glaciers and creeks. Looking at these maps, it's remarkable how many
peaks and glaciers do not have official names.

It's driven by Microsoft's Silverlight which is supported on Windows and OS X,
but Linux users are unfortunately left out.

The Pique has an article about the official release which will be announced at a
conference in Whistler this week.
