I was asking Andrew whose big group did it this past weekend about going there in November, here is his reply, very informative and reasonable .....

We were there this past weekend actually. The terrain and new rough trail would be very challenging in snow. The elevation starts at 920 meters and rises up and down many times as high as 1050 meters. Then way down to the river. It was roughly 4,000ft in elevation gain in and out I think it was stated. The tough part in November would be traversing many steep slopes sidehilling a lot in and out of the tree's. The trail is well marked by red squares but by then in later November at least they could be buried in snow. Unless it's a dryer November this year like some say. Upon reaching the road at the Harrison Hut junction is all down hill but would be better for snowshoeing definitely being open. The junction is at about 8k and the total is 12.5k each way.
