Garibaldi lake on July 14

We drove 2 hours from Vancouver to the trail head and start hiking at 10:44am
Very dusty trail due to high temperature and so many people on it everyday
Each of us carry 60+pounds backpack, took 4.5 hours reach the lake
The water has been poluted, smells like sewage

10'x10' tent pad can fit in 4 people with 2 compact tents. We didn't choose 20'x20' camping site without wooden pad

Everyone got multiple mosquito bites during tent setup even though we used bug spray.

We spent 40 minutes for lunch at the junction after 3 hours hiking

Going down was quick, took us an hour and ten minutes from camping ground down to parking lot
The last 3km feels longer

Exhausted, so excited, all want to come back again
