Day Snowshoeing活动召集:本周六改为elfin lake，提早为７点集合集合地点不变(1月12号)

活动时间：2008 年 ，1月12号，当天往返

集合时间：7:000AM

集合地点：Broadway skytrain station旁边的Safeway停车场。

必备装备：

  
1.HIKINGBOOTS和Snowshoes（雪鞋MEC有租）
2. 2升水 (如果有保暖瓶能带上些热水最好)
3.手套, 帽子
4. quick dry base layer & 至少1套御寒保暖衣服(e.g. fleece/down jacket)
5. 防雨防风外套
6. 头灯/手电筒
7. 背包及rain cover
8. 防晒霜,雪地的紫外线反射很厉害
9. Gaiters,防雪防湿鞋湿裤又能防脏

为安全起见建议大家带冰镐(MEC有租)

一些注意事项：

需要CARPOOL的朋友准备两双鞋（一双是登山鞋），在开始Hiking前和结束后，换上干净的鞋，
这样省去车主打扫车内卫生，谢谢！还可以再准备一双备用的袜子。爬完山，能让脚舒服一下也是种享受 :lol: .

手套帽子必备，手套保暖防寒，要防水／快干的。(如果没有防水／快干手套也可带个二三双羊毛/fleece手套湿了替换用)

！防雨防风外套／雨具和保暖衣服！

Don't worry,for Cypress bowl RD,any tire is ok,2WD is ok.the road be cleared all of the time.

上星期日大風雪, 在山腳處一行車線封閉, 所有車輛集中在右線, 有兩個工作人員檢查車輛是否裝有雪胎, 也有一些車輛泊在路旁裝雪鏈。如路況差, Cypress會拒決沒有雪胎的車上山。

不过俺的车木有雪胎，也木有雪链。要是这两天山上不下雪的话，小车也许行，刚下完雪上山的路就不行了。

记得山中腰转弯处有个省立公园的入口，不知道那附近有没有trail.

太大的雪，请LULU查一下雪崩情况，或是否考虑MOUNT。CERMENT？

太好了，很久没和大麦同行了，这条线到St.MarksSummit和Unnescessary col都没有什么雪崩问题,

大麦大哥说的MOUNT。CERMENT可是指Mt.Seymour？也可以呀，我们可以明天或集合时定, 雪崩预报considerable的话Mt.Seymour最多也只能走到第一峰...

I was up there last weekend. Lots of snow. I made it to the upper parking lot with a 4 wheel drive truck but lots of other vehicles where parked at the lower parking areas. There has also been quite a bit of snow in Squish this week so I think the road would be really questionable (not sure how often the plow makes it up there).
