我们宿营的Curator campsite 附近有个Shovel Pass Lodge。

饭后，我们到这个Lodge 里坐了会儿，一位和蔼的大妈热情接待了我们，准备了咖啡、茶、几种果汁，还有自制的饼干。
在一天的长途跋涉、风吹雨淋后能有这么个地方围坐在火炉边，喝上热咖啡、吃上自制的cookies 真是太幸福了，而且每人才$2。

我们还预定了第二天的早餐（$10/人）

Day 6 - Steep hike up from Curator to The Notch, and Signal

Well done Joise. Thank you for your good job.

The first day on the skyline, the weather was cooperated.
We climbed through an open coniferous forest from the trail head. After the Snow Bowel campground, we were travelling above treeline, rambling through expansive meadows, crossing high passes and traversing ridge of the Maligne Range.We had panoramic view of layer and layer of mountains.
Now I understand why it is being called the Skyline. We were, as happy as in the sky.

Agree with Xiaod. What I miss in hiking not only the sceney on the way but my companions. What a bliss I have a wonderful team.

这天从Curator 穿行 Notch 又到 Signal 的行程是整个trail 的精华。

不仅仅是它17公里的距离，爬升300米的高度

因为the Notch, a high, steep, challenging avalanche slope, windy mountain pass
At the top of the Notch elev 2510m.
