It happened exactly at where we were last Sat, Coleman Glacier, the place we had watermelon. There is NO danger for us since we did not hike up any more

On the way we went down, around 4:00pm, I met and talked with a young couple with skies. Who told me they were from Vancouver and planned to hike Mt Baker on Mon, not on Sun. It could be them, the heroes.

She must be lucky there. I had my worst food when I was there during 1978-1981. All supplies were 窝头, barely had 馒头, never had 米饭. Might have meat once a week. The only advantage was good cholesterol 胆固醇.

This is the reason I refuse to have corns now. I guess I should have corns tomorrow.

BTW. It does have a military resort not too far down the road. 1980, I met a bunch of Beijing Movie College students there. I never thought, even today, they were and are better than my college, Dalian Marine College. All these Movie College students are the 1st generation after the Cultural Revolution and have big names in China now, 第五代导演。They had 2 classes and one class had their practice in Dalian.
