版主你好，我想参加这个活动，之前在中国一直在骑行和徒步，经验和体力没啥问题。。
但是我在多伦多，是不是要在8月1日之前赶到温哥华，和你们集合，然后再一起出发呢？？我申请carpool^^

Berg lake trail map:

Directions:

1. Go onto Highway 1 eastbound for ~140 km.

2. Stay on the freeway (Highway 5) past Hope towards Kamloops for another 203 km.

3. Take exit 374 to merge onto Southern Yellowhead Hwy/BC-5 N toward Jasper and follow it for 339 km.

4. Right turn onto HWY-16 after passing Te'te Jaune Cache
Distance from Kamloops to Mt. Robson 390km – about 4 hours

Backpacking essential list:


- Food
- Water bottle(s)
- Tent, sleeping bag and sleeping pad
- Hiking boots, hiking poles, gaitors
- Backpack & rain cover
- Stove, gas, cups, cookware and matches (waterproof recommended) or lighter
- Waterproof bags (sacks) for food and personal items
- Plastic and garbage bags
- Water treatment device
- First aid kit (bandages, gauzes, pocket masks, gloves, goggles, scissors, tweezers, iodine, alcohol, antiseptics, emergency blanket, cotton swabs, etc.)
- GPS, walkie talkie, headlight, flashlight, whistle
- Personal hygiene, bug spray, sunsreen

Rockie 那边晚上很冷， 大家务必带一件防寒衣服如羽绒服 或者绒衣。以我个人经验，睡袋以-10度左右的为宜，否则会冷。再一个天气多变，一定要带防雨的衣裤，还有就是多带几件快干的衣服和袜子换洗。带根晾衣绳也是不错的选择。

一路上水源充足， 大家尽量在溪水里补水，湖里的水据前人经验很容易把滤水器堵住。

我会带一个滤水器。如队里还有谁有，请跟我确认一下。谢谢。

Good point about the weather! I can't emphasize enough how important it is to bring Down/Synthetic/Fleece jacket and waterproof jacket/pants! We might be hiking in the beginning of Aug but this ain't no summer weather in the Rockies! Nite time is cold! Afternoon Thunder storm is common in the area.

I will bring a water filter to share with the team.

很遗憾地告诉大家，我无法参加这次旅行了。因为MCL拉伤太历害，这个夏天不容易恢复过来了。非常抱歉。

Good news. Rick will lead you guys to MR.

I'd like to emphasiz that the function of the organizer is only to organize the trip and familiar the access of the Berg lake trail. Participants on this trip are responsible for their own safety and are expected to have  appropriate equipment, good health condition and essential first aid kits.

假如kitty能去，人数还是一样的。我也不用做任何改动了。

给大家通报一下，David(my husband)会跟Todd一起去MR。他体力很好，也是喜欢运动的人，只是不喜欢爬山。

这个周末，他和todd会去Garibaldi Lake练兵，周4 我会给出具体时间，大家有时间可以一起走一次，互相认识一下。
