父子练兵顺利，总共8个小时（包括开车）。其实今天天气很适合练习，各种天气状况都遇到了。

Team,

First off, we need to determine who are the drivers? I am in Richmond and I can take three passengers.
You need to reach out to the drivers and make car pool arrangement on your own.

Tentatively we are leaving Vancouver on Aug 1st (Wed) and stay in Mt Robson area for one nite. Alternatively you can choose to leave very early on Aug 2nd (Thursday) but make sure you have amber of time to pick up the permit and attend the orientation. Day light is long and you can hike into Whitehorn campsite (11km) under 3 hours from the trail head.

建议还是定一下集合时间地点吧。
比如在visitor center或者公园门口什么的。
我由于想再到冰原大道等地方转转，所以自己开车去。正纠结是直接去还是在中间宿一夜。
如果集合时间定在8月2日中午12点以后，我就从温哥华直接过去了。

我订了3个晚上各四个位子。第一天在whitehorn。第2，3天在berg lake。
每人的费用是$30+72x1•12/9=38.96. 我已用信用卡支付。请大家在月底前将支票寄给我。我会将地址放到你们信箱里。或一起hiking 时给我。谢谢。

I just called Discover Camping at 1-800-689-9025 and the agent told me it allows only ONE tent per tent pad and we only reserved FOUR tent pads!!

Are we getting unconfirmed and mixed message from various source on this matter?

B. 行程:
Day 1： from vancouver to Mount Robson

Day 2 (Aug 2): 中午前到达Visitor Information取backcountry camping permit. Backpack 11km (gain 265m) 到Whithorn Campground 扎營.

Day 3 (Aug 3): 早上Backpack 10km (gain 521m) 到Berg Lake Campground 扎營. 下午轻裝游Hargreaves Glacier / Toboggan Falls / Mumm Basin

Day 4 Aug 4): Day hiking 到 Snow Pass

Day 5&6(Aug 5&6): 背重下山走21km到trailhead作終点, 需5 – 6 hours. 稍事休息, 回Vancouver, 或住宿一晚， 6日回Vancouver。

C. 參加者基本要求：
团队精神 - 共进共退，友爱互助。分工合作，有FUN同享。
個人体能 - 有6小时負重35lbs backpacking经历

D. 责任与备注
户外活动有风险，一切组织和活动属自愿，参加者责任自负！组织者不承担法律责任。
E. 費用預算
Camping fee: 每人每晚$10, 3個晚上共$30
Camping reservation fee
Vancouver往返Mount Robson carpool 費: 待定

F. 其他注意事項:
參加者一經報名占位, 即承諾支付召集人代墊camping fee. 如因事退出而沒有合适候补人顶替, 所付款項, 恕不发还.

On average it is about 8 hours drive from Vanocuver to Visitor Centre and they close around 7pm.

That's what I heard too but we don't wanna any surprises and find out we only allowed to have one tent per pad as per updated policy! The we are totally screwed!

Plan B is to relocate a few tents to Rearguard or Marmot if needed.

我想這兩年Mt. Robson的營地政策有了修改。
1. 當年沒有party size限制。
2. 沒有帳篷數量限制, 只要搭在營板上就可以。
3. 當年是用電話訂營地, 沒有網上預訂。

當年我們14人, 由於全部同學們都願意share帳篷, 所以我只訂四塊營板, 讓其他人有機會享用。後來過了一兩週, 有一BC Park人員打電話給我, 確定我知道帳篷不可以扎在地上, 一定要在板上。

Lake O'Hara也只准一板一帳, Ranger每晚都很勤快巡查營地。Mt. Robson網上很清楚定明一板一帳及限六人, 可能你的隊友們都要湊合share帳篷。

Daisy reminded me of tent pitching on the pad many times in 2010. Rangers strictly enforce this policy.

Another option is stand-by. Get there early morning on Aug 02,
they do have spare sites for FCFS.
