Checkin in a Canadian hospital, Golden BC was a unique experience. The only hospital we have ever visited with free parking and zero line ups. The first question at the registration was "did a cam pull out?" - the nurse obviosly knew the difference between a rock climbing cam and a webcam.

Vera is getting ready to belay. Today there will be no summit (which is only 50m above), instead I will land on these rocks, backwards, after a rock (like those on the ground) detached from the mountain together with me. The climbing rope absorbed most of the fall energy (that's what the modern ropes are specifically designed for), but I still hit the deck. Big appreciation to Vera's skills saving my life! It was a fall factor 0.5 of ~10m in free air.
Climbing with backpack often saves your life if you land on your back, which was the case here.
