2026年3月Brew Hut 雪鞋行

北美户外一行10人, 3月14-15日在Brew Hut 度过了一个开心的周末。天气晴朗风和日丽，10人独享木屋。车停在TH往上接近２KM的FSR路上，全程雪鞋。雪很好, 干湿适宜容易走。有很多溪流的那一段路往年很难走，今年雪多大部分溪流都仍然被雪完全埋住的，只露出5个且很浅水很少，这一段今次是最好走的，没有之一。走完这一段，后面就是林中漫步和况野雪原上晒太阳了。风景很美，世界很安静，太享受了。
木屋里炉子的烟囱已经修好了，屋子里很暖和，晚上睡二楼的很热。
这次队友中有一位爬二代，小妹妹表现真是太棒了，希望有机会经常参加我们的爬山活动。

北美户外5男神5女神结伴出征 Brew Hut，纪律严明，作风优良，关键时刻能打胜仗。老天爷也很配合，蓝天白云，阳光正好。一路上林间雪道和开阔雪原轮番登场，大家不时停下来晒晒太阳，看看远山，浮想联翩，顺便思考一下人生，十分惬意。

Grace 和 Asghar 两大神强力开路，在雪地里趟出一条“高速公路”。俗话说得好：“火车跑得快，全靠车头带”，后队表示省力很多，内心感激不已。

Peter 大哥更是强中之强，自愿多走了4公里+，一定比我们多看了不少风景。Lily 大嫂远程遥控，随时指明方向。神奇的是，山里居然还有一点手机信号，这必须给加拿大基建的进步点一个谨慎的小赞。

再说我本人：喘、热、头顶冒热气，恨不能当场裸奔。多年都不爬山，体能不行了，整个人自动进入节能模式 —— 走一步，歇两步，喘三口，龟速挪到了木屋。

到了木屋，Grace 早已煮好了热气腾腾的雪水，幸福感瞬间拉满。炉子烧得很旺，屋里暖洋洋的。大家围炉吃火锅，味道相当在线 —— 事实再次证明：“北外捞”永远不踩坑。

木屋里还有一位老“住户” —— 一只胖胖的小老鼠。在屋里钻来钻去，偶尔探个头，还挺可爱。他（她）把这里当家，我们不过是过客。

Allen 的绳子这次堪称关键装备，成功给 Jasmine 小朋友的雪鞋实施了多次“紧急服务”，确保装备不罢工、队伍不减员。深受启发 —— “带绳子”已经正式加入我的打包清单，这次学到了。
最后必须特别感谢三位老司机：不仅负责往返接送，还在雪地里挖车、推车、各种操作。现场观众一致表示：必须鼓掌。

另外，特别感谢 Lulu 预定木屋，让大家在雪山之上有个温暖的大本营。

总之，这一趟：风景很美，队友很强，我很累，也很快乐。

Wonderful hut, wonderful trip  By: Jasmine L   
On March 14th a group of 10 snowshoers ascended to brew hut. The snow was wonderful, soft and packed and started about 1km from the turn onto the FSR. We snowshoed all the way, no microspikes were needed. We saw little pinwheels along the way up but no other signs of avalanche activity.

The hut is well maintained. Good amount of fire wood in the hut as well as the shed. There are some sleeping bags and mats in the hut. The top sleeping area can get very warm. We saw two mice, one in the top area one at the bottom so be sure to not leave any food out. The door also froze shut but there is a crowbar that is helpful in that case. It might be useful to bring some salt to help melt the ice around the door.

On march 15th, we descended in ~4hrs with no problems.

Note, Roe Creek road was cat packed but taken over by snowmobilers and guides who were very strict about where we could and could not park. About 20 or so drove by us w/o slowing down and sprayed us with snow balls/derbis.
