Looks like everyone has his/her own equipment.  If we don't need to spend time renting gears can we roll our departural time by half hour?  Just a suggestion.  :oops:

What about breakfast?

BTW, do we still have to go to the ticket window and switch the ticket at Whistler if we buy it beforehand?

好像沒有同學要租eauipment,可遲半小時出發.

但中途不停站吃早餐,原因是"麦当劳"和"Tiｍ Horton"等地方
在這時間是很多人排隊, 根據以往經驗有可能要花上15至20分鐘才可
order到食物。吃完早餐, 最少也要用45分鐘。 還有遲入了停車塲, 可能
找不到好泊車位.

提議, 可自備熱水和早餐, 到達了Whistler停車塲後, 就不用急,
可慢慢進食後, 才上山玩.  大家怎樣看?

一會兒吃飯後, Camony會把細節post上來.

I am sorry I cannot join you guys this time.  I have been travelling quite a bit lately and need to go to Ottawa next week and China the following week.  I think that I had better stay around home this weekend.  I may drop by Cypress on Sunday for a few hours - but it cannot compare with you guys' fun in Whistler and Blackcomb.

I went to 7-11 to buy the lift ticket today.  Somehow they were only able to print out a ticket dated in June, 2008.  The store cashier doesn't know why.  He said maybe I can use it anyways.
Has anyone bought the ticket yet?
What's the date shown on your ticket? Which 7-11 did you go?

If I still cannot buy the right ticket from 7-11 tomorrow I'll buy the 1-day edge card on line.  It's the same price.

I did the same thing as you. I bought mine in downtown. So far for my understanding, that means that you can use the ticket any day before June 8. You can use the ticket right the way to the chair lift.

If you plan to visit Whistler more than one time, the edge card is the better deal

I am not quite sure whether I can be back to ski again, that is why I got mine in 7-11 :lol:

Don't worry, your tickets are good before June 8/08.

I don't have to pay for tickets, haha.  But I recalled those folks purchased tkts from 7-eleven last year, they bore an expiry date and needed not being exchanged at the windows.
