2009年 ~~ 多天背包活動預告

2008 還未過去, 我的腦袋已盤算著一些明年要走的經典路線. 基本上所有活動限8人. 有興趣參加的朋友, 可提早申請假期; 但我的假期也要在2009年二月初才可確定.  :wink:

活動大綱:
May 16-18, 週六至週一(週一是Victoira Day), 三天 – 春季雪地露營

Aug 1-7, 週六至週日(Aug 3 是BC Day), 七天 – Spider Gap – Lyman Lakes – Image Lake – Buck Creek Pass Loop, 全程70km+

Oct 10-14, 週六至週三(週一是感恩節), 五天 – Enchantment Lakes, 順路遊小西德(Leavenworth), 全程32km+

如取不到permit, 改走North Cascades的Copper Ridge – Chilliwack River – Whatcom Pass, 全程55km

I did B/P on Sat 20km RT with 900m gain. Another one on Sun was 10km RT with 450m gain. So I feel very comfortable to challenge B/P next yr. However, when I move one step forward, u leap two steps upward. Here u tear my heart with these actions for those supermen or superwomen only. I "hate" u now and shame on myself.

I think it might be a good idea to create a new category for future plans, "2009 hiking plan". Under there, these future plans could be separately hold up without burying by all others.

I like to make several 2009 plans, such as Yosemite (the most splendid NP), Mt Whitney (the highest peek in American continent). All would be not more than one-day BP.

For sure there will be some 2-day BP.  
This year, we travelled south more than north and we just got our NEXUS, so there's good reason we hike in WA more often.

Definitelly, we will tailor-make backpack trips to match your comfort zone.  We don't want to miss any "See You Guy 豉油雞".

Honestly speaking 20Km RT with 900m gain --- is what we did most often.  You are already equal par.

For some reasons I am unable to hike for the last two weeks, most likely for the next one or two weeks.
You surpass me already.   :lol:  :lol:
