In the course of seven years, two of us backpacked the entire John Muir Trail in California in both directions, covering a total of 2x340km, and not once did we see any litter (such as tissues, toilet paper, cans, etc.). Recently, we hiked up the 3km BCMC trail and collected this in 90 minutes. The next day, we hiked it again and saw brand new trash: a coffee cup and tissues. Just saying.

The cornice fracture, hollow inside down, the thing on the right with my footseps will detach and collapse in a few moments, two of us standing just a few meters away on the "good" side.

Bailing just 10 meters below the summit of Joffre (behind). We will get hit by a small wet snow avalanche on the descent.
