I thought of booking the hut for our ski trip, but it is not easy to get a weekend stay.  Reservations are made at their Fund Raising Gala, which is usually held at the beginning of Nov & you must be there.

I checked the availability calendar, High Hut is available for Apr 22.  All huts are fully booked for Apr 23.

Your first chance for winter hut reservations!   If you're interested in a weekend or holiday hut stay, this may be your only chance.  Most of these reservations are filled at our Gala event.   Each attendee will get one lottery ticket for hut reservations, but can buy additional tickets at $10 each.  Throughout the Gala, names picked will have their choice of remaining dates and huts.   Attend the Gala -- It's your best, and likely only, shot at getting a weekend reservation in your favorite hut!

DESCRIPTION
Mount Tahoma Trails skimtta.com is a cross-country ski and snowshoe hut-to-hut trail system in the Washington state Cascade Range SW of Mount Rainier National Park. The trail system is operated by the Mount Tahoma Trails Association, made up of volunteers who maintain the trails and huts which are located on state forest and private timber company lands. There is no fee to ski the trails and a reservation fee to stay at one of the huts overnight. There are four huts (three cabins and a yurt). Bruni's Snow Bowl Hut was completed in 2012 to replace a hut destroyed by fire a few years ago. The trail system is operated totally by grants, donations, and gifts and work performed by volunteers. The trails and huts located in the Tahoma State Forest section of the system are also available for summer hiking and mountain-biking.
