參加者基本要求：

團隊精神 - 共进共退，友爱互助。分工合作，有FUN同享。
個人體能 - 有七小时負重35lbs backpacking经历, 可以抵受熱浪。

责任与备注:

1. 户外活动有风险，一切组织和活动属自愿，责任自负。

2. 一切計劃會跟據當時天氣, 環境作靈活變動, 隊友應跟隨整體行進, 不可單獨行動。

3. 一定要三人一組結伴同行。每組備對講機一部, 否則每組定要保持在視線範圍之內。

其他注意事項:

1. 參加者一經報名佔位, 即承諾支付活動策劃人代墊所有費用。如因事退出而沒有合適候補人頂替, 所付款項, 恕不發還.

2. 參加者一定要持有效美國入境証件, 如加拿大護照, 或中國護照 + 簽証.

一月初就要申請permit及預定營地。參加的同學也要向單位領導人申請假期, 所以要現在開始召集。

是的, 太早很難確定時間安排, 一切隨緣吧。好像去Enchantment,你也是最後才加入。

剛放學回家, 匆匆忙忙, 把初步計劃的行程表上網, 請各同學討論

點與點之間的距離及所需的駕駛時間是從google map 找來

Day 1,  Vancouver - Bellingham - Vegas

Day 2,  Vegas - Jacob's Lake - North Rim, 255mi, 5 hour

Day 3,  North Kaibab - South Kaibab

Day 4,  Shuttle back to North Rim

Day 5,  Grand Canyon North Rim to Bryce, 115 mi, 3 hour

Day 6, Queen's Garden and Navajo combination + Peekaboo loop

Day 7, Bryce to Zion 115mi, 3 hour

Day 8, Narrow,

Day 9, Angel's Landing, Hidden canyon

Day 10, Zion to Vegas 166mi, 3 hour 13 min
         如果航機班期許可, 希望能當日回家, 否則多留一天在 Vegas :wink:

Narrow, 是Zion最有名氣的Trail, 但別忘記這是River trail,
欺山勿欺水, 能否走畢全程全賴當日的天氣及水流,走 Narrow的許可証只在廿四小時前發出, 還说是in person, 而每天也有一定限額, 因此第七天, 我們要爭取天光前拨營, 早早到visitor centre排隊取籌

走Narrow, 五月是shoulder season, 水溫還有點冷, 走畢全程, 個人認為不太樂觀, 但還想一试, 也許走一段, 由River side walk 起步走到Big Spring, 這一段比較容易(也要取permit)

GC NP North Rim:
Check with the ranger station. As I know, 8 out 10 yrs, North Rim is not open until the Memorial wknd, the last wknd of May.

U can rent at Zion. The trail permission is well limited, at least as this way 10 yrs ago.

If time allow, you may consider Monument Valley (http://www.americansouthwest.net/utah/monument_valley/) – you will never forget the vista. Meanwhile, on the way, you can stop by a few of National Monument for Indian history if you are interesting.

Day 1, Vancouver -Bellingham, 乘搭十一時班机到Vegas,
      隨即租車入Zion, Watchman campground

Day 2, Angel's landing, 8.6K

Day 3, Narrow,還在搜集資料, 也要看當日天氣及水温, 才决定如何走
   走畢全程約需十二小時

Day 4, Zion to Bryce, North campground

Day 5, Queen's garden - Navajo trail and Peekaboo loop 13.4K

Day 6, Bryce to Grand Canyon North Rim campground -
      Angel's Window, Point Imperial

Day 7, 約晨早五時從North Kaibab trail 到Bright angel campground
      (backpack) 22K

Day 8, 約晨早五時由south Kaibab backpack 到South Rim 10K
      再到West Rim Hermit Rest 溜溜, 乘下午一時卅分Shuttle
      回North Rim

Day 9, North Rim

Day 10, Vegas

Day 11, Bellingham - Vancouver
