请问：cross-country和downhill skiing的滑雪装备是一样还是不同? 我去年去过两次cypress downhill skiing, and rent the skiing equipment. and I found the equipment rental fee is much higher compared to that of the cross-country skiing.
Sorry about my question. I just started to learn downhill skiing last year. and no idea of cross-country skiing at all.

Cross country & downhill are two different kinds of skiing. Since the prices of downhill (alpine) equipments are more costly than x-cross, so the rental fee is higher.
Cypress Mountain
The Rental Shop is located in the Nordic Base Area across from the Guest Relations Office. You will need a credit card, photo ID for a security deposit as well as payment you can also use cash or debit to purchase rentals. Youths and Children may use parent's card with phone authorization. Once you have proceeded through the rentals cashier you will then be assisted to pick up your rental gear.
