I've just called Snow Man for the details.  He assured me that the road is still passable if we drive with caution.

The lower part of the road from pavement for1/2 km or so has had major river of water run down it some severe ruts and gravel rock debree have come down the road bed.
At 3km just above Suicide hill a piece of the road has disapeared, Someone has put some sticks to mark it. Stay away fro edge of hole. The edge is over steepened and could give way.

The upper part of road above the Quary has deep wet slush and snow Heavy rain and high temps have lots of water coming of the hills. Temps as high as +8'c at parking lot.
