Waterton is the only town in Canadian Rockies without parking meters. It has city-wide free WiFi too. (The opposite to Waterton will be Banff - it is so busy with tourists that McDonald's has no parking at all) 8)

Goat Lake Trail是从Red Rock Canyon开始起步的，来回约14公里，拔高500米，是个在博士眼里很适合作为climbing之后的调节性的hike：轻松，不长不短，景色又好。

我们去的不迟，所以停车场还有位置。TH就是Red Rock Canyon（没想到回来时已成了下饺子般的“浴池”），过了桥，开始的4.5公里几乎是平地，而且也是骑车路线，开阔舒畅；后面的2.5公里有些像GG，一路上升直到目的地。有的资料上这样介绍湖水：crystal clear，真是名不虚传。鱼在水里清晰可见，让人见了心里特别欢喜。我就在水边咋咋呼呼地这边一条那边一条地叫着，来来去去的游客很多，不少还下去游泳，或者嬉戏，怎么能不羡慕他们呢？年轻多好呀！

Goat Lake不大也不小，环湖景致美丽，坐下来用餐休息，凉风习习，别提有多惬意了，后来看到有背包来此露营的，真是好选择！
