Hi, everyone,
I am planning a short run tomorrow. Weather will be sunny!

Meeting place: Main entrance at VGH Diamond center (2775 Laurel Street, Vancouver, B.C. V5Z 1M9)

Route: From VGH to Granville island

Running distance: 7- 10km

meeting Time: flexible, but prefer daytime

sorry, I have to miss this one. I started my lunch run again, 3 times per week with a co-worker who ran with me for 8 weeks preparing for the 2011 sun run, but she gave up and didn't join the event. but she is so determined to finish 13 weeks training with me during our lunch hour this year. I am so happy for her :wink:

LD bought me a DVD "The perfect runner" and I really enjoy watching it. you guys can borrow it after I finish watching it.

下雪的日子，总会让我不知不觉的想起童年.

我想, 童年是隔着玻璃的世界, 故土是隔着海洋的地方。

我的心可以飞越海洋回到儿时的村庄，我的手却无法穿过记忆的玻璃握住那天真的童年。站在窗前,看着纷飞的雪花,，就好象看到玻璃另一侧的那个小小的我在雪地上忙忙碌碌，快乐幻想。当画面慢慢的模糊起来，伸出手想擦的时候才知道朦胧的不是玻璃上的雾花，而是我的双眼。

把故土收好，把记忆折起，我知道在他乡我还要启程走好明天的路。那一天，当我步入老年的时候，希望我还可以带着一些童年时的天真和梦想，那一天，当我再踏上故土的时候，希望我还可以再为她亲手做些什么。多年的海外漂泊，没有她站在我身后，我早已失落。

教育兴国，匹夫有责。今天的我无法做到，可是这个梦想希望将来可以做得到。内困外扰的时候，更要走好自己的路。个人如此，国家亦如是。

Note that the early bird deadline is Jan 2, hope more ppl can join us :P

Sure! I ran 12+km with explorer and white snow this past sunday, really enjoyed the runs with you guys! I am now in northern BC working and will come back to Vancouver Friday evening, will let u know my schedule then[/quote]

This Sunday(20/01/2013)8:30am- 10km run-- "False Creek Loop"

We will meet at the Terra Breads at Athletes Village. The nearby Community Centre has bathrooms, water, lockers and plenty of FREE parking on the surrounding side streets or the underground by Terra Breads with free parking for an hour, which is not really patrolled.

We will do the full loop around False Creek, which is pretty close to 10km
